Hiller's Moto: SMILE
They stand behind their moto from the call center to the ditch digger. I was so frustrated with trying to find someone to come out and replace my rotten service pole I was in tears by the time I finally called Hiller. Shantel (call center rep.) had me laughing and joking with her by the time we got off the phone. As promised, a tech was at my door at 5pm on a Friday when everyone else was going home.
I wish I could remember all the names of the reprs. who came to my rescue, but at 72, I am lucky to remember my own name. All a can say is they came when they said they would. They left me smiling, and when the project was finally quoted and explained in detail what was going to happen the following Wednesday I was completely "One Happy Camper" After getting rejection after rejection over the course of 2 1/2 months.
The project was starting exactly as promised at 8am Wednesday morning & lasting all day. The temperature was in the high 90's, but these guys stayed with it. Not only did I have to have my service pole replaced, but they had to dig up the old slab, working around trees, bushes, Kingston Spring Limestone, and hard clay dirt & rock in a five sq foot area. My service was restored the same day. When they left, my yard, trees, & bushes survived. Nothing had to be cut away.
I could go on and on about the remarkable job these guys did but they showed up with the "Hiller Smile" on each and everyone on the job. After a long HOT day they left with the "Hiller Smile" not only on them, but on me too.
They might be higher in price than some, but when you get treated like royalty from the first phone call to the end of the project, and your property is treated as though it was in the most expensive area in town, "PRICE" really doesn't matter all the much. (at least not to me)
I'm a "Hiller Happy Customer", and signed up for their maintenance contract for the next year .
Thanks Shantel, Josh, Jason, Tony, and all the crew on the job.
